It is intended to support the head and neck of newborns. Required for newborns up to 4 months (or until baby develops sufficient neck control).

As with our carriers, we paid special attention to the position of the baby's hips when designing our insert for newborns. The unique angled base of the pillow keeps your newborn's hips in a natural position. Our double-padded back panel provides proper support for the curvature of the child's spine, and the thick head cushion ensures protection for the child's head and neck.

The inclined seat is ideal for proper hip development, and the inclined bottom keeps the newborn in a natural body position. It provides support for the newborn's head, and the fabric is soft and breathable.

Two positions allow you to adjust the size as your baby grows, and the side straps ensure connection to the carrier.

Is it possible to wash the newborn insert in the washing machine?

That! We recommend washing on a gentle cycle in cold water and drying on a flat surface, do not tumble dry.

How long should I use the newborn insert?

Every baby develops differently. We recommend using the newborn insert until the baby has good head and neck control and until the legs can be spread comfortably while sitting on the side of the seat, usually up to about 4 months.

In which position can the newborn insert be used?

The newborn insert is designed to carry the baby facing inwards only.

What are the 4 loops on the newborn insert for?

The top two loops attach to the top of the double straps to provide support for your baby's head. The two side loops attach to the bottom of the double straps to secure the newborn insert to the carrier.
